I purchased a S&B intake from Rouge Offroad and installed it yesterday and thought I would share pictures and my thoughts for others who may be in the market for an intake.

Before I begin, I did not purchase this intake thinking it would give me hp gains, I purchased it for looks and noise only. If any hp gain was accomplished, it was minimal and or added bonus.

Installation took me about an hour to remove old items, build up new intake and install into vehicle. There were some quirks and a couple minor challenges, but overall super easy to install and anyone can do it if you have basic tools.

At first I was skeptical on if it would be worth the 3 bills, but after my first drive with it this morning I am happily impressed. It sounds good, I can hear it most of the time and it gets pretty loud at around 3600k so overall I am happy with the purchase, product and ease of installation

If I could change one thing, that would be that the maf sensor was pointed the other direction so that the wiring harness doesn't come under the intake tube to plug in to make it a little cleaner looking.

Pics and here is a link to a small video clip

I really like it and am happy with it. Installation was easy, looks good in the engine bay and sounds good, specially around 3500-4000rpm's

Perfect they seem to have really good reviews. Once I get rid of the rest of my f150 stuff ill be getting this intake. I am excited now.

I was skeptical because of the price point, but am happy with the results. I paired mine with a Gibson exhaust too. Now, the Gibson exhaust sounds good, but unfortunately it does rid some of the noise from the intake at low rpm's, but at least when you get on it the intake still gets loud which is what I liked about it

I have seen alot of people say exhausts sound terrible on these trucks so I am very skeptical of an exhaust I may change my mind. who knows.

Personally, I think the Gibson sounds good. It has a very slight drone if you are at higher rpm's, but if you're in 6th gear cruising I don't hear it much at all. It has a nice deep tone and doesn't sound like a civic fart can ever

I wasn’t a fan of my S&B I takers I took it off and returned it. Aside from a few other things I didn’t like about it. The major part was how big it is and losing space behind it (17 TRDOR). Not sure why it needs to be this size.
