I can make them for the bedrails kinda like the Hi lift bedrail mounts. You just buy the quickfists and mount them in the bed. Is that a location you'd be cool with? I've made a couple like that for some people

I need 2 in my truck at all times now. One in the cab right in front of my driver seat, and one in the bed or on my roof rack

I carry these in my truck, one in each door pocket:
    http://www.coldfiredirect.com/

I would highly recommend them. Beats your standard dry fire extinguisher (the red one everyone thinks about when you say fire extinguisher) for off-roading because the powder inside will settle and compact while driving making them less efficient and prone to failure. ColdFire is a liquid and will not settle or separate. The aerosol cans can be bought on Amazon:
ColdFire Fire Extinguisher - 13.5 fl. oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEZL4U6/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_tG3hybDFKZ9AS

Anybody find a good under the front seat mount for a fire extinguisher? Thinking one inside and one in the bed.

Maybe not under, but at the bottom front edge. I feel I've seen just not sure who makes.

I think it would have to attach to the seat so the front/back adjustment can work properly. @GHOST SHIP fab time.

Take a look a the sewing thread. Plenty of ideas there if you're crafty. I think a small extinguisher (like the cold fire ones I have) would fit perfectly on the front portion of the seat bottom (facing your calves). A quick Velcro pouch and you're in business. You might even be able to repurpose something that holds paintball cO2 tanks just for this. Anything bigger/heavier and you might be SOL to find something sturdy enough that won't bounce around. Those paintball guys have all kinds of tacticool shit that can be used in a multitude of ways. The good thing is that most of our stock interior (carpet, headliner, seat upholstery) loves Velcro so all you'd need is the "hook" side.

One thing to note about the @KB Voodoo flashlight mount that was mentioned (I have one BTW). I tend to kick the flashlight with my heel often when I swing my left leg back to exit the truck. Not a huge deal with the flashlight because it's tough and takes a beating, but the fire extinguisher being larger would get annoying until you got used to it. I think the flashlight that Chad included with his mount is the perfect size for that spot. I wouldn't put anything bigger there or it could interfere with the door pocket closing too.

10 lb? That's the size of my co2 tank. One mounted in the bed could work (can never have enough fire power. Navy ship life pounded that training into us). Mounting that beast inside may not be easy.

Yeah man. Car fires are no joke. If Riley were still around he could verify this, but a car can burn down pretty quick because it's basically a rolling pile of accelerant. Those little fire extinguishers that import guys like to mount next to their e-brake wont do a thing unless you're Johnny-on-the-spot with it and pull it at the first sign of smoke. Not to mention that most of them keep them in the car way past the expiration dates because "they're too expensive".

My mistake- fixed it. It's 1.5 gallons. Measure about 14" tall and 6.5 inches diameter.

A little more familiar with fires, after Saturday, then I care to be. I'll be running two extinguishers. One in the cab, and another in the bed. My back is so sore, like I just got done shoveling after the first snowfall. 20 minutes of shoveling dirt into the truck will do that. Shit was frantic.
