True. Could stick it on the sheet metal of the truck too though (door skin). Most packable hammocks have a built in stuff sack that is right in the middle of the hammock. I've seen people put drinks there too.

    You beat me to it!

The magnetic koozie definitely works everywhere on the truck and is always in arms reach when I'm in the hammock! :D

@deadhed61 your truck is one of the main reasons on why I want custom bumpers front and rear! and also because they protect the truck while wheeling...

I need suspension first but it is definitely on the long term to-do list!

Looking for some advice for wheeling/camping trip this weekend. Initial plan was to go to big bear but with the fires the crew im going with doesn't want to be near that area due to air quality. Then we were thinking Anza Borrego or Joshua Tree but looks like we will be trying to avoid those areas cause of the heat wave. Any ideas for some spots within 3 hours? Idyllwild has been tossed up but the temp will be pretty similar around there aswell.

I'm curious, has anyone hired one of those dudes outside of Home Depot. You know what i mean. Im attempting a little project to route some coaxial and ethernet cable through the crawl space under my apartment, and fish them up through two wall panels ill be mounting. Towards the front of my place, the crawl space goes from about 4 feet to 2 feet tall, and it will require crawling on the dirt. There are creepy crawlies down there for sure, black widows, etc. I would rather hire someone to do the work.

How much would i pay a dude for that? Shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

you're really not gonna find anywhere cooler other than in the mountains, beach or in a pool somewhere...near by mountains; Arrowhead/bigbear, Idyllwild, Palomar (but thats a stretch, not a super high elevation)

you can try the San Gabriel mountains, off the US 2- might be cooler up there too. most of the camping and off road trails are closed though, you could do some internet searching..

I will have to look for that antenna up grade. These radios don't go very far around topography. 1/4 mile or less on the trail.
