I want to install an S-Pod system with touchscreen in my 2013 OR, but their website says it will only fit 2005-2012 model years.

Is there really something different between the fuse box and firewall that makes a 2012 different from a 2013? I emailed S-Pod with this question but haven't heard back.

If it works for a 2012 it should be fine for your 2013. That and it looks like it's just a single wire through the firewall to plug into the touchpad right?

There is a grommet right up behind the steering column on the cab side and you can see it real easy in the engine bay, it's like a foot or so up and to the left of the main firewall harness boot. You can just pop the grommet out, cut a hole or slit and slide your wire through and button everything up. Way easier than running anything through the main grommet.

Check my post on this page, it shows where it's at. Don't mind the engine bay in the pic I think it's a TRD sport or something so slightly different in that area.

Thanks for the info. I guess the specific part is the mounting bracket that the S-Pod box attaches to, so my question is really is there anything different under the hood where this thing mounts.

Based on some pics I just looked at I originally thought it just mounted to the two empty bolt holes over on the drivers side fender area, but the pics I've seen almost make it look like you drill your own holes...I could be totally wrong though, it's hard to tell.

There's a pic on this guys build thread:

Or this pic shows the pre-existing holes better, where the 2 hex bolts are.

Actually yeah looks like custom holes which is sort of dumb in my opinion:
