Well first off let me say that i am a total idiot for the following.

Upon trying to clean the MAF I stripped one screw head. Then when trying to get it out I drilled it out and have hole alignment issues. Now that I am going to buy a new maf and maybe new air box. I was wondering what the size of the 2 screws were, since I lost the last good one.

From what I could find on google, it looks like Screw,M4 7/16???

just buy a screw tap and stink new ones in. no big deal, as long as the bracket and airbox original holes line up or the plug fits in correctly.

Yeah I thought about doing that. However for some reason I think I should change the MAF.

I have cleaned it a few times and have highly optimized my truck for MPG yet have gotten abysmal numbers.

In the summer I averaged 18-21 mpg. Now only 14-16.

    Recently:

    Changed the fuel filter
    Cleaned out the KN filter
    Cleaned the MAF
Consistently use either Techron or Lucas on fill ups
Installed a Dynomax Super turbo muffler
Inflated the tires to about 37 psi
    Even reset the ECU

All of this and still bad mileage. I know winter gas is to blame for most. However I still see people get 18 mpg in the winter with 4x4's and im running a 2wd
