S1 gear warning beep

Hi all...Once again I am asking for your knowledge and assistance in order to avoid the dreaded dealer. Great people and great forum. I just reviewed the forum and could not find an answer to the following: I have a 2017 Tacoma Access Cab TRD 4x4 Off Road. I have recently noticed that I cannot shift into S1 above 20MPH but can below 20MPH. If I try to shift into S1 before 20MPH I hear a "Beep Beep sound" which is perhaps a warning sound associated with the transmission not allowing the shift into S1 above 20MPH.

1. Can someone verify for me whether this is what you are experiencing if you have a 2017 Tacoma.
2. Is the Beep Beep sound I hear before I can shift into S1 a notice type of thing since I can sheft into S1 below 20MPH.
3. Is the situation I described above normal for my transmission and that I do not have a transmission problem?

Guys...no need to be smart ass and rude. I was coming down La Manga pass between Chama NM and Antonito CO. The descent down is quite steep and very winding. I just wanted to slow down on some curves when I was going about 25mph. Thats when I noticed that beep and an inability to shft down into S1 to go a little slower and save brakes. Apparently you smart mouth individuals all have Tacomas that you drive back and forth to the store and then back home to watch TV. Kinda like wanna be's..who are a dime a dozen.

Sorry, but back in the day when you did a dumbass move like this you would lock up the rear tires.... If the rear end held together.
Hell, you could even put in in reverse while going forward and watch transmission parts litter the road in your rear view mirror.
Doing stupid stuff was expensive.

You should try it front wheel Honda civic.... you can get the rear-end to lift off the ground, crank the steering wheel to the left or right and pretty much hit a 90 degree turn
