S6 Premium Security System

S6 Premium Security System is on a TRD off road I'm looking at. What is it? Is it a normal annoying alarm. I usually park it locked at kids practices. Kids are always climbing around in the back or dads sitting on the tailgate. Will the dumb alarm go off? I really hate alarms or is it just if doors or windows are broke while set?

Can you disable the alarm easily and just have keyless entry?

I decided to preorder one. The only thing they can find in the color I want has that S6 on it.

Or should I just pass on this one?

 

Wow..... Sounds like a people problem.

That said, u may be better off getting something with no alarm, and then buying something u can set for in cab motion, or glass break sensors to go off and disable the shock sensor with the key fob.

 

So anyone have any links or have this feature that can describe it to me?

Okay, I got this truck anyway. The S6 is not a motion sensing type of alarm. Its something put on by gulf states Toyota region. It is almost identical to the Toyota VIP System. So it works great for me, I can sit on the tailgate or put stuff in the back without worrying it will go off.

I've been told that I have the same system on a Taco TRD truck. I dont know anything about it other than how to activate it.
I'm not sure if it works.
