You can see the lake from the ranch although its very low on water but not that far. I went back in november and well it was fun but hairy at times going up. Rock sliders are must and a nice bumper up front it saved me a few times. Here's a link from ttora not many pics also will find a list of trails. The owner guides you on the trails which is cool that way you dont get lost. i just took my 3in spacer off it anybody wants them.

 WOW looks like we're in for some punishing trails out there.

07Taco did i buy my hitch off ya?

Drift I'm going to bring my canopies so there will be shade and cold water. If i remember correctly it was hot as hell at the last meet. It cooled down in the evening just like it's been doing here. Come on i survived the last meet drinking only Lone Star.

I'm sure we can get away without too much of a beating. I think there are some PreRunners coming. I'm not even sure I'LL have 4wd up and running by then. I'll definitely have 2wd and a locked rear though.

Good, Good.... we still need three more to be there in the morning, i'll see if my boss can let me sneak away to get out there just to help set up. I'm really trying to collect as many brownie points as I can right now.

It should be, i don't think it's all off road terrain, beside we will set up camp and you could just park there.

alright, I am gonna take the " I am telling my boss the days I need off approach" and I think it will work out fine. The islandboy and I will definitely be able to get there whenever in the morning. I cant wait, I will hopefully have my TC uca's on and my new billy 5100's installed too, along with some more new cool stuff. So who all is planning on actually wheeling?

I might...but who knows. I'm not sure you can call what I do "wheeling." it's a lot more "being winched around."

Ok Im in.I am still on the fence about staying all night. I will not be hardcore wheeling. I would like to ride shotgun with someone who will be though.

Austin area folks! I know equinsu is gonna be there early. Looking at the map it looks like 281 to 46 is the fastest route for me. Anyone else want to meet somewhere along that route and convoy down there?
