Hello. Hoping to find someone with a 3rd gen in the Sacramento area that has a prinsu rack (without a light bar) on their Tacoma? Reason I am asking is I am trying to decide if I should get a Prinsu or go with the OEM Toyota rack for the top of my truck and I am concerned with the wind noise the Prinsu may or may not make.

If anyone is willing I would love to meet you any where in the greater Sacramento area (convenient for you) to check out the rack in person, and maybe take a quick test ride on the freeway so I can hear the wind noise (if any) for myself before I drop hundreds of $$$ on this rack. I really don't see this taking up more than 30 minutes of your time at the most.

Like I said I would come to your location..... and for your trouble a free meal at the drive up window restaurant of your choice would be yours or a $10 Starbucks gift card your choice.

I have read good and bad accounts regarding the wind noise on these racks so I would just love the chance to judge for myself.

Thanks in advance to anyone (if there is) willing to help a fellow TW member.

I'll bite. The only thing is I have a access cab, where the real difference is the access cab had no provisions to bolt the rack to the cab. So when I drilled my roof and added the rivnuts I dropped the headliner and added sound deadening.
    I'm in midtown.

Hello. Thanks for the response and offer to help. I really appreciate it. I think I will pass though only because you added sound deadening to the cab, and I haven’t added any sound deadening material to my cab. I am trying to get the closest apples to apples comparison I can get.

Learned something too I did t realize the access cabs don’t come with the provisions to mount a rack already provided. Still I thank you for responding. Appreciate your time.
