It was good to twist up a bit with some fresh suspension work, but defiantly reminded me of why I don't go very often. Pc is good for the occasional 30 min romp around but lookin forward to some good trails Saturday at Dutch flat.

Dam it just saw this. I wouldn't of been able to make it that early though. My driveway was being pored this morning, and i had yo wait around so they could go through the house to get to the back half. I did get my back ones done. I wish i had an earlier start as it was hot.glad i did them becuase the pass side was bent. Witch caused them too lock up a few times on me.ygu6e2us_bf1d55974bbcf1821c7ed7a2fc1d9a299cfba111.jpg

The bad part is that the pass side dust shield needs replaced as the rivets holding the pivot point for the parking brake almost pulled all the way through. The binding of the shoes caused a little damage. Its holding for now but im going to have to fix it soon.i just don't like the thought of it failing.

Hi all, after a few months of scouring autotrader, I finally pulled the trigger on a silver 2005 DCSB TRD OR 4x4. Been lurking here a few weeks for ideas, and I even installed the electronic pop and lock tailgate lock as my first mod. Aftermarket support was pretty limited on my previous ride ('03 Xterra), so needless to say, I'm loving all of the aftermarket choices for the Taco!!

    Hello All,

I am a new member up in Washington State. After years of various trucks I am going back to my roots and looking for a Toyota Tacoma. I drove a 1982 4WD for fifteen years and loved it. I am looking for a 4 door DCSB and having trouble finding one in my budget up here. I am coming to Davis in a couple of weeks to help my father move out of his office (he recently retired from UCD) and thought I would look for a truck while I am there and think about driving it home. I have seen a couple of options on craigslist. Is there a better place to look? Is there a good mechanic in the Sacramento area that would do a pre-purchase inspection for me? Thanks for all your help.
