It's a pain in the butt for sure, but with a little patience and a heavy hammer they went in. The long bolts holding them in are very tough to maneuver.

I watched the video on Youtube from Total Chaos. Seems straight forward.

Willing to do it myself, but didn't know if someone was looking to supervise for a few beers. lol

Other than the top bolt being a bitch, anything I need to watch out for?

As you can see there isn't a ton of space to work.

Did you end up bending the fender well to get the bolt in like Total Chaos shows in their video?

Seems odd this would be the ony way to get the bolt on/off, but who knows.

    Very nice setup, BTW.

I have icon, but I assume LR UCA aren't much different. Getting the spacers/washers lined up was difficult as well. Another set of hands will save you a lot of time.

I did a uca swap out in Moab this year in the middle of nowhere. With a adjustable wrench, you can pull back the inner fender to get more space to clear the bolt. That TC is pretty much how it goes. I can lend a hand depending when you wanna do this.

Yeah I had to bend the pinch weld with some channel locks. I don't know how you would make it fit without doing that.

Thanks for the pointers. I'm probably going to attempt it this Friday.

Need to cure the high speed wandering sooner than later.

If you're willing to supervise, I'm not going to say no. lol

I would make sure to have everything prepped and ready to go. That way I don't take up much of your time.

    ...too much shit to list.
Go ahead. Do a CL search for something similarly equipped and similar condition. And you'll have your answer.
KBB means jack shit with 1st gen tacos. Supply and demand rules. I turned down a 17k offer on my truck less than 6 months ago and that's with a salvage title.
