I'm back, and a bit disappointed. Not much snow, and not many people.

This is at the 'bulletin board'

    This is at N/S road:

This is at Silver Fork intersection, where I turned around:

Had to cut the trip short. As I was leaving, I got a call from a shop in West Sac that the instrument cluster I had dropped off was repaired and ready to be picked up. I promised I would pick it up by 3pm. Long day.

It's not bad for a first storm. We got a couple inches and it isn't melting much since it's so cold. Hit a high of 38 yesterday.

If the next storm drops more then a few inches we should go up. As always with snow runs its usally a last min plan. And I no most of you might not want to take a day off but if it falls midweek that's what we need to do.

Being retired :p , I'm usually available for mid-week runs. Any excuse to get out of the house.

The Earth is flat too. You read it right here! :D

Those high temps are up on the hill in the Sun similar to where Safeway is. They run 10 degrees warmer than those of us in Pollock not on the hill. Weber Creek runs behind our house and it stays cold all the time. We did warm up into the 40s finally today.

This is our small amount from Monday. As you know, it would have been gone after 3 days had it really been that warm...especially the top of the railing. a46e636d1e9a4c97451e7b697f4a45b5_8d8f9be35e0263196800c71cd9c212bb3270120d.jpg

    I'm just giving you shit.
Although I still do blame you for the snow conditions the last few years. It was all your fault...since 2011!

Jeez, it double posted. Please tell me we aren't going to have all of TN's double posts and disappearing posts issues here too.

Hello Sacramento, I posted this question in the NorCal thread but maybe this would have been a better location. Just looking for a Shop recommendation. Ill shortened up this post a bit. Looking to lift a 2016 TRD 2WD double cab. ALL of my local shops ONLY push spacer lifts. It seems Nobody want to install a suspension lift. The one shop that received 5 yelp stars was no help to me. I went in and was told "the lift guy isn't here". Called the next day to "the lift guy is out for parts". I guess they literally have 1 lift guy lol. Never got a call back. This was supposed to be an old school 4X4 shop. If you guys were like me (lost, no lift skills, and only have friends with cars) where would you go for a suspension lift (maybe bilstein or OME)?

Not many shops here in Sacramento to be honest. There is a placerville (not sure the name).

You can call @HotMetalFAb .. Maybe he could help.. He is a good guy...

Installing the lift isn't extremely hard to do. ,do your research, Pick a lift that fits your budget and driving style buy the parts And then find someone to install. Lots of guys on here help each other out and make some new local friends that will help you install it.

A lot of crap and too much money spent
Yep, get involved with a MOD day or just ask for some help. I'm sure it will cost you the price for pizza and beer but that is a far cry from what a shop will cost you to do the install.

You taking about Dave'z up here? Meh, I'd stay away from there if possible. That place has gone down hill alot over the last few years... I don't know if 530racing is still doing anything, they used to build KoH rigs...
