I'm new to the forum and live in the Sacramento area.
Saw some of you were looking for a place for tacos last week.
TAQUERIA SANTOS LAGUNA on Folsom Blvd has $1 tacos on Tuesdays.
    Any of you been there?

I don't have much experience going off road and my Taco is stock.
I have the California Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive guide and am interested in starting with the easy to moderate trails that are within a days ride.

Anyone want this xenon bulb? It came in a pair of headlights I bought, but I have no use for it. I have no idea what brand or type it is. It's for a 2nd gen.

Welcome to Tacoma World. There's plenty to do around the Sierras in a stock Tacoma. Do you have any plans to modify your truck?

    And where is Citrus Park?

If you ever seen the way he HAMMERS through trails/roads, you probably wouldn't be asking that question.

I may have tweaked a few things...
I've never been there for tacos, but then I'm just as happy with Jimboy's tacos so what do I know...

Welcome to TW! I'm pretty new still myself but it's clear there is a great community here. Seems like there are new people joining often enough that there is usually a group for new off roaders to hook up with.

Unfortunately the internet in general isn't the best resource for finding beginner trails. Asking for recommendations is helpful but then everyone judges difficulty differently so it's still a guess. Best thing seems to be to group up and find out together!

I have never checked that place out, I always drive by it though. I have started trying to keep track of trails I do with Gaia GPS. I'll usually try to post up links afterwards. @Tacotm and I try to get out as often as we can and anyone is welcome to join us.

It's in town, north of Sutterville road off 99.
Terrible place to live think there are 3 or 4 microbreweries within a mile.
Track 7 is one of them and has lots of parking. Could be a good place for a meet-up. They have food trucks but you can bring your own food too.
I bought another set of rims and plan on getting some 255/85r16 Toyos for my first upgrade. Have couple straps and D rings. Also planning on getting a good 6 ton jack, Hi-Lift and some chain. Maybe a tree strap since I'm married to a tree hugger :)

Yes, I've seen some of your trips. I have a tablet with GPS and I'm interested in seeing how it will work.

That's Curtis Park. I've been to Track 7 a few times. Good beer.

I misread your location. You misspelled Curtis and I read it as citrus. I need to get my eyes checked.
