Theres better, more natural, options at Folsom lake since the water is low. Both are good though.

Anyone have a used 255/85/r16 tire I can buy? Looking to throw it on my spare since I have 255/80/r17 wheels and tires on now...

What’s up Sacramento folks. My name is Jim- just wanted to stop in and say hi. Been lurking around here for a while but haven’t posted until recently.

Been wanting to upgrade the suspension on my 2015 TRD Off Road 4x4 for a while so just decided to pull the trigger.

Ordered up a set of 6112s/5160s, Icon AAL, SPC UCAs and an ECGS bushing.

I’m a DIY kinda guy, but I’ve never pulled a CV out before. Looks fairly straight forward. Only tool I don’t have is the 200 ftp torque wrench…

If anyone familiar with these installs is interested in coming by, shooting the shit and lending a hand, or letting me borrow their torque wrench, I’m always happy to supply beers and pizza.

I’m in the Arden area. Feel free to shoot me a DM!

    Cheers,

    Jim

I'd like to give a hand.
I haven't pulled one yet and want to.
Just got a 35mm socket and an impact wrench too.
My torque wrench is only 10-150 ft-lbs.
    I'm in Curtis Park

So my truck is stuck in the garage! The garage door won’t open the springs lost tension.. I tied everything! Anybody know how to fix this I hit YouTube and tried some rebar and cranking on it but it’s a pain in the ass… so frustrated.

I'm guessing you already pulled the red handle...without the spring tension, the door will still be heavy. But can still be lifed by hand. Is the cable on the side bound up? Cranking those springs back to the correct tension can be sketchy. The springs aren't snapped? Post some pics if you can.

Yeah, there should be a red handle on a rope or wire hanging. Pull it to disengage the door from the opener. Should be about to manually open and close it after that.

So ya the door was to heavy to lift even when the handle was disengaged and the wire was spun and almost tied to the door and tensioning rod. I was able to YouTube the crap out of it and after a lot of swearing and a deep breath I managed to get it free. But man What a pain in the arse.. at least the truck is free and I can go to work in the morning.. thanks guys..

I've driven both Latrobe Rd (it was dry) and Folsom Lake beaches since getting my truck at the end of August. both are fun, but a smallish group driving both of them would make it a lot more fun for sure.

I’d stop by for the beer but have no need for a tranny jack.
