Hey Sacramento Guys! I am currently waiting on the phone call with the actual Job Offer, but I signed my new hire paperwork and took my physical last week, just waiting on the drug test results (I do not do drugs so that isn't a problem at all). I will be starting my new job at the County of Sacramento Sanitation Department down in Elk Grove hopefully next week, So i'll be saying Goodbye to my fellow Socal Tacomas, and hello to my (hopefully) new friends in NorCal Tacomas! My soon to be Wife grew up in Auburn, moved to Davis, and then on to Walnut Creek where her parent now reside, so we are constantly driving/flying up to the area to visit with them, and now we are a whole heck of a lot closer! Will probably be a bit until I'm able to have some free time, what with new job and all that, But i'd love to hit up a trail with anyone!

Welcome! I'm also from SD, now attending UCD, so I basically live up here for like 80% of the year. The only thing is I miss the desert terribly. :(

Ugh! Romping in the desert can be fun, but MAN does it do a number on the truck. A) i don't have the suspension to be trying to keep up with these LT guys, and B) It's frikkin HOT!!! Plus, I'm more of a trail kind of guy, let me go up onto a mountain and see how far this trail goes! Jumpin' your truck and hitting 5 foot whups is fun and all, but i've seen the damage it can do, and it really does take alot to get to that point. Bye bye gas mileage lol.

Not too many honestly but I'll upload what I have later tonight. I'm always the only person with a camera so I never get any decent pics of my truck which is annoying haha. Plus I'm like the main spotter too and it's kinda hard to take pics and spot at the same time haha.

Anyone in the Sacramento area interested in these, or know someone that might be? N-Fab chrome bolt-on tube steps (2 step) for a 2012 DCLB? $350ish range.

I'm in the same boat. I went to Ocotillo wells once....ONCE...to go see the pumpkin patch sand stone formations. I'll probably never go there again. My favorite trails are those that go places and I don't care how long it takes, I take it slow. The parts that I love about the desert are the scenery, deep sandstone canyons, and greenery/wildflowers in the spring. For that, I don't really mind the heat, though I agree, it can be pretty freakin' hot.

Any Sac Staters on here? Saw a similar Taco to mine parked in the lot south of the daycare yesterday. I'll try to snap a pic if it's there tomorrow.

Nice, I'm only there 2 nights a week, but I remember whole group of lifted trucks in the lot when I used to be there during the day.

    What's your major?
