    You Rang!

No time limit, some of the work will take a few hours between 12oz ers. And if others wish to do a BBQ, or cater, would be a later day obviously. I would have no problem making up a macaroni salad.

I was thinking about installing 2nd gen CCFL projector headlights. I'm not too concerned about hooking them up correctly, but having them aimed correctly seems like an easy part to screw up. Has anyone coming to this event had experience with headlights?

After doing a little more research I've decided against cheap ass lights. I'm going to do the BHLM instead since I mainly just wanted to black out the front of the truck. And I can always build my own retrofit if I want that look.

That said, I would still like to come by and meet new people and learn as much as possible about my truck. I haven't confirmed that I have the day free but if I do I would try to make an appearance.

I did a set of BHLM lights a few years back. Pretty easy. I'll be there

Just updated with a list of members, coming and lurkers!

As stated before and no replys for BBQ, food, ect. There is a Chandos right around the corner if you wish this route instead?
    Tagging here for a response.

Do believe neighbors driveway is a NO go now, sold and fixing up for rental.

    Sorry John.
Post wasn't really directed at the Lurkers/maybe list. Most of you, this isn't your first rodeo.
More bringing it up to the attention of the ones that say they ARE coming, the rest tend to follow suit.

Yes I do. Flux core, don't grind/exposed metal too much to weld, too much splatter to clean up.

I can weld through paint/powder coating.

Ordered a few reservoir weld on tabs and I want to fill in one or two places we gouged into the frame removing the factory shock towers. Nothing major or time consuming

@HAVING FUN thanks for hosting the mod day. I'd like to join in the fun as well! I have a supercharger and fuel pump that I'd love to get installed, but it can wait for another weekend if there isn't enough time to tackle it at this mod day. I have no idea how long it is supposed to take since I've never done it before. Regardless, looking forward to dropping by and meeting you all.

Not sure about second or third gens, but never needed a slide hammer for a 1st gen halfshaft

You don't need it but it makes life alot easier and you don't chew the diff up with roll and use a pry bar method. One or two wacks with the slide hammer and the cv comes right out.
