Less body roll - potholes are less noticeable

I failed to keep track of time at any point during the day.

I think I did the whole thing (and my rear diff) in less than 2 hours, 1:30-3:30 I think I was in the driveway? Maybe that’s wishful thinking lol

Most of that time was spent trying to either recover my spark plug socket lost in the abyss of my top end, on two plastic coil connections I couldn’t get off (until David came to the rescue) and running around my clusterfuck of a toolbox (or lack thereof).

Man - you must’ve been really high up there...I didn’t leave until close to 3 PM and you were just starting your first spark plug! :p

Good thing you got it done!

Time is not constant and can be lost, depending on consumption. I’m not the only one who has lost a spark plug socket, only to have it turn up on the spark plug I just installed

Haha fuck, wishful thinking indeed. I was all over the place. Next time I’ll be much more prepared, organized & (maybe) sober.

@roguegs im never playing in the mud again, especially the day after I have my truck detailed. On my way home last night my front end started clicking once when I turned in both directions, worse over bumps. After I spent 30 minutes at the spray car wash it went away. I just got back from the car wash again, for round two. No more mud for me.

Yeah same for me...that mud was a bitch to get off even with the pressure washer both at the car wash AND at home. Took me an hour to get the mud off but the underbody is still kinda brown from the dirt. I’ve just come to accept that my undercarriage isn’t going to be completely black again.

Don’t accept defeat man. I got mine looking close to new again. My home pressure washer won’t do so well against Prairie City mud. Gotta get up in that bitch. It is possible to clean it all out but your gonna get dirty, takes me 2-3 trips to spray booth car wash (one with good pressure) and about 15 bucks in 1’s or quarters. It takes an enormous amount of effort but I’m taking it in to the dealer this week and I need it to not look how it did yesterday. I will probably end up doing it once more before I take it in.

Overall, not a bad day. In spite of my mental deficiencies yesterday, we managed to get the brakes done.

Thanks again to @HAVING FUN for his generosity. It's a lot of work to play host.

Thanks to: @FirstTimeFirstGen for his knowledge, supervision, and especially tools; @little squirt for his help doing the brakes and for pointing out the threads were stripped on my MC reservoir cap; and @TOP TACO for his words of encouragement ("Get the fuck out of here! You're embarrassing us!") and his good vibes, which may or may not have played a role in me being at Leonard's for 12 hours.
