Guess I had some fun this weekend in the truck. One rear flare broke off, put a couple dents in my rear passenger door and c pillar. Overall nothing too drastic. Yanked a Jeep around the park and up rocks till we got it out too

When you gonna order a HC rear bumper?

 

how do you like having the rtt on the roof?

 

Probably never. I'll probably just use the trail gear kit i have and box the rear of the frame with hitch up there. Then maybe add some side tubes to protect the bedside a tiny bit.

I like it. No difference in gas mileage compared to over the bed. And it keeps my bed space free to load up bikes whenever I want.

 

How much of a PITA is it to load up there or do you have a second set of hands to help you?

 

I leave it on all the time but it wasn't too bad. Just put it up in the bed and the lifted from there.

 

Ah gotcha. I have a prinsu in the mail, so was just curious.

 

I wouldn't want to mess with removing/install anymore than I had to on the roof.

Yeah that's what I figured. Mine is never on unless I'm camping.

 

Consumed about half, will come back later for the other half.

That's the plan eventually. Really haven't been motivated to get anywhere though. Still need to tear down the Dana and cut off all the stock brackets. But no space makes that an issue

 

Going to do a truss? went through the build today. bored waiting on pepole to show up for thanksgiving dinner.
