As far as truck build changes coming: I have since ordered a whynter 45qt fridge, pelfreybilt hi-lift mount, Air On Board compressor switch for under the hvac, two 5gal jerry cans off Amazon, 20ft tow strap, snatch block, 36inch plano box. Also hoping to pick up a tire gate to have somewhere to place the spare finally instead of in the bed.

still lacking the space unfortunately and with my current work traveling it doesnt make sense to delve into anything. Heard you may be buying an 80?
We did not. Wanted to go back and run it but we will save it for next time. Also figured the escalator was the harder obstacle anyways.

What did you use to pull the bumper "wings" back out? Both sides of my bumper are bent in. It doesn't bother me much, but if it was easily bent back out, then why not.

just used a tow strap and a winch. wasn't able to get the original gap that there was between the hoop/headlight but a lot better.

Ah okay, I'll use my snatch block and winch to a tree at my house.

Headlights got readjusted and fixed my compressor wiring tonight with an air on board center console switch.

I tapped the positive/ground to one of the 12v sockets up front since the switch itself won't use much to drive a relay. Works like a charm from inside the cab now.

Tomorrow I plan on tackling my fridge install and I should be receiving the plano, snatch block, tow strap so I will try to figure out where to place it.

Why do people take their mudflaps off? For cool looks or clearance or what? Just curious

I thought it helps stop flinging mud and rocks.

Because they break when they get caught on anything offroad anyways.

Doesn't matter when it only covers half of the tire, and it only covers the inside of the tire so it doesn't matter anyways

Forgot to text you but yeah that should be good for recovery, im sure at some point you'll add along the way once you get yourself into a situation alone and wish you had more

no worries. i didn't realize you had a 42 inch case till today when i was glancing. i ordered the 36 but i think at that size it will fit behind in the rear passenger cubby area at least, find out tomorrow when it arrives.

I probably should have gotten the bigger box but this works for now. It doesn't fit behind the seat either so now to figure out a home for it. May end up of the roof rack eventually.

Ah yea! Fridge is in. It fits with the seat laid down. But ill probably remove it if I like it there. Can't decide whether I should leave the fridge in full time or not.

Anyways it would drop the fridge way lower, which is a nice thing

Done. A little bit more road noise I noticed today without the seat up but it wasn't too bad

New taillight is installed. Looks just like stock. Also received the Jerry cans which appear to be ok quality. Definitely need rinsed out with gasoline before use since there is dirt/tiny metal shavings. The pour spout doesn't have a useful gasket though so I'll see how that works eventually. Main thing is that I'll at least have gas to spare.

I just got one of those boxes. I'm going to be mounting it on my rack soon. I wonder how well it will do in the sun all day every day
