Plus the Moto thing is what I'm focusing on currently obviously. Really trying to push myself with it

 

But what do you have to do to the stock rear diff to marry it with the SAS up front?

What gears front and rear?

 

my plan is to swap in the rear axle at the same time. Haven't decided gears, I want 40s but 37s would probably be ok too

Picked up a fuel cap vent with check valve and fork relief valves for the YZ before hitting the track tomorrow. Should be a good time

 

Hit the track yesterday for 6 hours. My entire body is sore. The bike does great though and got tuned in. Had to move the forks up in the clamps in order to obtain turn-in as I wanted. Got to practice dirt (I still suck) but got comfortable jumping the bike. Which is 100000x better than the drz.

Picked up a STM slipper clutch and a graves carburetor catch can from another rider while I was there. These will go in next Saturday before practice session.

Ordered a tusk competition set of steels/fibers to go in as well and wiseco clutch basket

Well since the YZ motor locked up Saturday, the teardown began tonight. Head is in good shape still, jug has scoring but not enough to seize. Piston still rotates freely on the rod and the big end still rotates in the crank. But it won't rotate freely to pull/push the piston through its cycle.

Have to teardown the bottom end next

 

Picked up a new 2015 yz450f today to replace the 250. Winning.

Moving handguards/wheels/brake over to this bike after I ride this weekend.

 

Plenty of bikes for me to come visit lol

If I go back to Missouri next year I'm bringing whatever bike I currently own with me for sure. It would be cool to ride on an entirely different type of terrain than we have here.
