    I have one pair of Thoroughgoods. Fit nicely but my hooks pulled through the leather. Going to have to have them re do them with hooks with more backing

    For the last few years I was mowing lawns and doing landscaping work. Worked one summer at my local county highway department. There I was weed whacking in ditches around signs and telephone boxes. I was wearing them out cuz I was taking lots of steps.

    Currently working for a large heavy equipment auction company.
    Now I'm walking on gravel all day long which is like sandpaper.

    Yes, it is. My biggest issue is my foot arches. 30 plus years of walking on concrete has killed my arches. I have to wear supports in the boots. But good boots are worth their weight in gold. I'm a commercial construction superintendent. Basically a herder of cats.

    It was dry. plus it was a holiday. Shut down some of the express lanes on 35 because of ice. But other than that people were out. We will see about tomorrow when this melt turns to ice.
