    Wonderful...... as in absolutely nothing so far. I find and apply for tons of jobs (currently have 205 applications submitted since last October), but very, very few call backs. I do seriously think my age is hurting my chances. I am very well, if not overly qualified for the jobs I apply for, but I either get no response ever, or the generic "while your skills are quite impressive, we have identified other candidates who are more qualified for the position...." email rejections. We're getting very close to the point of having to dump our house and move in with my in-laws in the next town over. We've discussed the option many times with them since I got laid off, it would be a bit of a pain in the butt for all of us, but it would be manageable until I could find a job and we could go look for someplace to rent. My biggest fear is that if we do lose this house, I will lose my VA loan eligibility for life, which means we may never be in a position to buy another place, and would be stuck renting forever. That would really suck.
