Go to school, get a bachelor in computer science, kinesiology, network admin (or w/e floats your boat) in 2-4 years. Get a career, not just a job, and make however much you want, I started at 40k a year now on a good year I make low 90k. Truck is more of a hobby but I still rely on it to get me to and from work everyday. It's my back bone, without it I wouldn't make money so I put a lot of money in to it with after markets, maintenance, etc.

I understand that but it was a present for graduating high school. I'm now a full time nursing student at USC Salk. I don't feel that my parents owed me anything for graduating but they felt that I should have something better than the reg cab S10 I drove in high school. Getting a lot of scholarship money helped also, I only paid $300 to go to school for a year.

I can understand a situation like yours, Id want my kid to have a nice truck to get to work and school. It sounds like your keeping on your shit and making them proud. At least you Deserve your truck. Better then some kids that run around carefree in new cars and trucks that cant even pass the damn SAT.

I used HomerTaco's precut grill mesh and overall it took me a week, working a little every night. I'm not really experienced, but playd a little with glass and epoxy a few years ago.

I try, my dad had to work for his stuff when he was my age and never got the true "college" experience and wants me to have one. We all know our fair share of those brats like that. What can I say tho I love them.

Long ago when I was still living with the parents and going to college, I modded the piss out of a '99 F-150 all on credit. Learn from my mistake and never use credit. Now I save up and cash out each mod for my Tacoma.
