I am a CNA but the nearest hospital that can afford to hire me is about an hour away I'm thinking it might be worth it I just need to crunch the numbers and see if it'd be worth it.

Agree 100%. If someone bought my truck for me I'd have lots of money for mods because I have a freekin' job!! If not .... I wouldn't even consider mods.

Better yet ... Forget the mods, work a part time job, and give your parents money every week until you have paid for the truck!!

Good luck with your finances when you move out of mom&dads!!

No, I meant crna (certified registered nurse anesthetist). A killer way to command some great pay in healthcare/nursing. Of course they never seem happy.............go figure.

A 2009 Tacoma given to you and you're sad? Damn, I wish I had been treated that badly. Sorry if I'm not overly sympathetic but everything I've had in my life I worked for and paid for myself. I took pride in the fact that I stood on my own two feet and didn't lean on anyone.

My tacoma fell out of a tree, a money tree, and the shaking dislodged a lot of the leaves so I bought LT. Honestly where the F* do you think we get our money?

Boo-fucking-hoo. You're 25 years old - go make some damn money.

Pay attention America, because this is the future. Canada is just a few spirals ahead of us in the race down the toilet bowl.

You tell me- what sort of society produces a 25 year old man who does not understand the correlation between "I want that cool, expensive toy" and "I need to make some money". It's not a bash on Canada, because America is doing it as well at an alarming rate.

There's nothing political about this - it's a mindset issue. It's mind boggling how a grown man can complain on the internet that he can't afford to mod his truck.

I would agree with the former , but am at a loss how " Canada is a few swirls ahead of us " is neither political or a Canada / US thing .

It is a political thing, but since we don't discuss politics here; I'll let Homer Simpson explain how money works to the OP. Excuse the lame ass animation, but it's all youtube had:

Most of them are not even with their take home pay. I know because I used to work with them. They basically exists so anesthesiologists can have a life. They get assigned arduous cases that don't pay much, they are assigned the $hitty surgeons that equally $hitty anesthesiologists don't want to work with, and sometimes even patients that are very high risks for surgery.

But on the plus sides, they make so much more and they don't wipe poop anymore compared to working the units....:D:D

Easy fix. You should sell the truck so you can get some money for wheels.
