Haha, this reminds of a crazy lady in one of the apartments I stayed at during an internship awhile back. On multiple occasions she would go outside wielding a huge frying pan walking around beating on cars and yelling. So many different emotions the first time I witnessed it. Every time it ended with an ambulance showing up taking her away.

I blame parents, they are the ones that are supposed to "teach their children" correct behavior, manners and morals.

No one should have touched your truck under ANY circumstances. But can I ask a question? Please ignore if you find it offensive, as again no one had any right to touch your vehicle. The question: You say, "About 3 weeks ago my lights were turned to blind myself when I turned them on." To me this implies that you turn them on in the a.m. apparently when it is still dark. If so, is it possible that using your ditch lights in the a.m. in an apartment complex annoyed somebody sleeping on a lower level?

Just a thought......probably wrong. And no excuse for stealing. The reason I mention it is that this time they didn't damage you paint job. But it appears to be escalating. First they turn them around to make a point. Didn't work. Stole your property. If that doesn't work, what will they do next?

Consider or don't......and good luck with the pricks.

Someone stole a package that had the total front clear bra protection for my Tacoma. Searched Craigslist with no joy. I did however find a newish aftermarket Skid plate for my rig on there lol.

I don't mean to offend anyone but I've lost a lot of confidence in the police lately. My wife's car was broken into 2 years ago in our driveway. They stole a few items... GPS, etc. maybe a total value of $200. Police didn't do shit and said it was probably kids. No big deal.. they've got more important things to do. I get it.

Then my wife gets rear-ended 6 months ago. Hit and run. Fuckers backed up, drive around her and took off. She got a good look at both people in the car and saw who was driving. Got plates as well and called it in. Dispatcher told her they just got 2-3 other calls from people who witnessed it. Police didn't do shit. They claimed they went to the registered owner who said she wasn't driving. Blah, blah, blah. My wife has been dealing with neck pain and going to chiropractor and nothing happened to these assholes.

I don't get it. That seems like a serious crime to me. A person who did that would probably do the same after hitting a pedestrian and deserves some punishment.

I don't get it. How are you supposed to get justice?

See post #29 please. I do not use them in town. I have not used them in the complex or in town even since the first time the individual turned them both toward the driver seated position. I am not sure of the motive. I went months with no problems...

I hate hearing about stuff like this. It can sometimes make me second guess about performing certain mods to my Tacoma because there are just too many stupid people out there that will do crap like this because you have a nice truck that you care about/take care of. Sometimes I am paranoid about drawing any type of attention to my truck...

My only thought (and next mod I will probably get serious about) is a Dash Cam that is hard wired in and has parking mode. This way, you can potentially catch the jerks on camera and take it to the police.

Most models draw somewhere between 2 & 4.5 W. In most of the research I have done, something like a Power Magic Pro is what I am considering using... This is really necessary to be able to achieve "Parking Mode" and not drain your battery. "Parking Mode" is probably one of the main reasons I am considering this purchase/mod and its for the exact reason mentioned in this thread.

I would love to say that I have a model in mind. I have done a good bit of research, but there are sooooo many models and so many manufactures of these dash cams... It'll make your head spin. I've just been keeping my eye out for a great deal with good reviews and all the features I'm looking for. If anyone has any recommendations... I'm all ears. Looking for something in the $50-$80 range... but would spend a little more for features and brand recognition.
