Sorry to hear about yet another taco in trouble. Glad you're ok. At least you've got the weather to blame. I totaled mine in December, and it was a clear sunny day-my own damn fault:eek: I didn't want to total my baby, but they found more and more damage as they tore it down. Anyway, I found the exact same truck in 4wd to replace my loss. Woo hooooooooooo! Best of luck to you.

I know exactly where you are talking about, went through there a couple of times headed to Steamboat. Weather changes really fast there, one minute it was sunny the next whiteout conditions.

    Glad you are ok though...

1 week? man i'd have cried. I had a little heart raising moment this morning. The pavement in florida pretty much turns to ice as soon as it drizzles out. I was comming around a merging ramp going from one highway to the next. I think it was a combo of being below E (no weight in the gas tank) and my rake from the AAL in the back because the rear end broke loose. Luckily it was slow and gradual so I over-steered and let off the gas easy. It bobbled a bit, under steered for a split second, which was was what really scared me, then regained traction once everything was in line and righted itself back out. But man, that was a wake up seeing that guard rail coming.

Well I got it back from the body shop a few weeks ago, (looks great btw) and started noticing something weird when it starts (weak, long cranks, not turning over). Took it in today, they found the MAF sensor caked in oil and something in the air intake system gunked with oil. $800 repair, but they fixed it for free since their Body Shop missed it. Laramie GM Auto center is the best (if you're ever in Laramie, WY). Drives like a dream, doing the deckplate mod this weekend, and lift+tires coming later this summer :D

yep anytime a cehicle is rolled or layed on it's side all fluids should be changed and intake and exhaust systems throuely checked. Fluids have a funny way of flowing where they werent ment to go :p

Glad to here ya got it taken care of, good luck with your truck

    Thanks all...
I'm doing the Deckplate mod this weekend, but I don't know where to buy one from. No boat stores anywhere near, don't know which ones online to get. Don't want to pay 25 bucks for one... ideas?
