Sorry about your Tacoma, but glad to hear that you and your dog are doing mostly well. Looks like the structure of the truck did it's job with protecting you.

It's great to hear that you and your pooch are for the most part unharmed. My sister rolled her '99 on it's side and also had her dog with her.

It doesn't matter what your tires are like, brand new tires are prone to hydroplaning in the right conditions.

Not saying this was the situation with the OP, but speed is the biggest factor with hydroplaning.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
holy tits! glad to see that you and your dog are okay, truck can be replaced, it did it's job though, it protected you and kept you safe. That is the number one priority of any Toyota vehicle, thats why I like them so much.

At least now when someone says they've traveled 'everywhere' you can call them on it and tell them you, your pooch and taco went somewhere they haven't - to hell and back.

Glad to know the souls on board made it!

ROFL. It was the scoop that saved him! That the dog made it out without a scratch is a miracle. I would recommend getting him to the vet for a thorough check though.
