Sorry for your loss. We are here for you. I worry about my dad too. He's 88 and getting pretty frail.

Like I say if I can be half the man.
Hoping it got easier but I kinda don’t think it will.
    I miss him already.
Glad we got to see each other and hug and say I love you a few days ago.

So dad always gave me shit about my little truck!
So I left some marks on the main road by their house.
Pretty impressed myself seeing how my taco Is a 2.7.
He’d had gave me hell but my single tire fire left some decent marks.

Sorry for your loss Jeff. Lost my Dad 6 years ago. I still feel exactly as you describe. I hoped I would be retired before his time was up but it wasn't in the cards. I miss him every day. Hang in there and always remember all the memories you have of him.

    Dear TW
I have to say that your words of comfort do help and is
    appreciated.
I am sorry for others having lost a loved one.
It was easier to say when I wasn’t one who had. Grandparents were tough but this just sucks! I couldn’t imagine a child or spouse.
    This is plenty hard enough!
    Thank you for your support.

Lol also good night and thanks again. Been a rough day!

So today I spent some time in the old mans garage. I tinkered with my taco in his ford parking spot.
I took his truck for a ride not really thinking.
My dad and I were close and people were waving and I broke down. He had so many people who knew and liked him. We look alike and have the same build.
My moms a wreck and I’m there for her but it’s hard on all of us.
I can’t say enough about the folks at Spafford and sons wells who are their neighbors. The owener was the first on scene after mom found him in the garage. He and a employee Ed started cpr. My mom wouldn’t leave the garage and watched it all. They were just ending the resitation when I got there. He had his whole staff on what was going on and I truly appreciate all they have done. Hey Jeff hang in there bud.
Sounds like dad was a popular fellow in town. Just remember how special he was to you and all who knew him.
Be strong for moms now and the upcoming holidays.

I’m 8 years old sitting in the passenger seat of Dads new 69 Buick Wildcat (silver with oxblood vinyl interior) and we’re cruising along Dad says “Steve, look at this” bewildered I looked at him and he repeats and points at the dash. I look at the speedometer and it’s pointing at the number 100. THAT was the moment I knew I had the best Dad
