Well I bought a 2003 Tacoma v6 double cab and well it started smoking from the engine white smoke at first it came from all the engine then I saw some black gunk on the exhaust pipes smoking so I cleaned the engine and everything scraped the gunk of and now it just smokes from the passager side of the motor it only happens after 15 minutes after the engines is heated up I guess I got bamboozled lol but anyway do you guys think I need a new motor?

Could it possibly be a leaking head gasket?

It runs fine? Sounds like an oil leak is dripping onto some hot exhaust or something.
    It runs fine, correct?

May need a head gasket or head but I wouldn't say the motor is dead. You don't do any of the work yourself?

I meant are you gonna be fixing this oil leak causing this smoke? Or are you taking it in to have it fixed?

After you bought it or perhaps just recently, did you change the oil yourself? Go make sure the filter is on snug (not over-tightened of course but make sure its on properly). Many, many moons ago I had the oil changed and a day or two later noticed a ton of smoke. Checked and I'm leaking oil. Oil covering everything from filter back to the rear diff. You guessed it, the oil change tech did not sufficiently tighten the filter. I gave it 1.5 turns to the right and leak gone.
