I just had my spare throttle body rebuilt 3 months ago.
After hearing from others that he was not taking on any more work I sent an email and this was the reply I got today.
    So sad :(

George was in a terrible car accident on December 21, 2023 and has gone to heaven. I am his mother, and I am unable to answer your questions. I am closing the shop. Thank you for your previous business with my marvelous son.
    Edith.

That sucks, I never had work done by him or anybody else, but I followed his work in the past on here. He seems like he did real quality work and helped a lot of people.

    Yep, he'll be missed.

What are the options out there now if someone needs this type of work done?

It's sad anytime something like this happens. I spoke to him on the phone once, he was very nice and was happy to answer my questions. BS'd for probably 10 minutes. May George rest in peace.
I ended up not sending my throttle body to him, and just did the washer mod to calm down my high idle after cleaning the throttle body, with the intention of sending it to him later. Helped some but didn't fix the problem by any means.
My throttle body has been discontinued. I've searched high and low for a place to repair it, searched for a used one, no luck. It's for a 97 4runner 3.4, 4x4, M/t with cruise control. Has about 385,000 miles on it. I believe it's the 22210-62210.
I hate to even ask, but does anyone know of any good options on where to go from here? Any advice/information would be much appreciated.

    Thank you, Ben
