Let's not go into what SHOULD be expected from a dealership as far as any kind of service. We all know it's too much. This is typical lame shit prime example. A lot of people here will even tell you it's not right to be fuckin pissed at the limp attempt at slippin half ass shit past ya too. The ones that do either work at a dealership or would like to. UNFUCKINACCEPTABLE is what I say. Either it looks like it did before anything happened or they have FAILED. If they cannot, then you should get another truck of similar yr/mileage/features plus any of your mods switched over. Anything else blows.

i feel your pain :(. did you do a walk thru with the body/fender shop before the work was done and after to make sure what need to be repaired? also to point out what wasn't there before you leave with your truck.

I did a look over before I left. I pointed out that there was still a dent in the side panel, the paint imperfection on the drivers side rear door, and I looked under the hood and noticed the clips that hold the washer line were missing. The had the clips but forgot to install them. They said that insurance only allowed PDR on the dent and that the dent was not caused by hail. They would contact my insurance and see if they would pay to fix it. They said they would fix the imperfection whenever they got a response.

I never really thought to check everything on the interior at the time. I was in the mindset of looking for dents and paint. I guess I live and learn and will take videos of the truck at the shop when I take it in tomorrow.

I am going to try to go in with a calm head, but I am not scared to go get the owner of the dealership and body shop and show him and see if he wants this type of work to go to his name.

demand all new body parts and not bondo all the dents.fight like hell if they say no. bring it to a body shop you trust and let them deal with the insurance company.i've done autobody for 17 years now and believe me,you dont want all that bondo on your truck.

I did demand OEM parts and no bondo. It is basically a brand new truck. When I took it into the shop I told them I want it back to like new conditions. The only things that I did not want replaced at this time is the windshield, Access Door glass and grill surrond (minor damage to the 3 item and not worth fixing right now). I did not realize that when I took it to a bodyshop with my dealers name on it that it would come back looking like Joe Blow Grease Monkey worked on it in his shed in the trailer park. This body shop is supposed to be a all new state of the art body shop. The newest around.

Wow that sucks man, I'd be extremely pissed off with that work. I wouldn't have even picked up the truck until an adjuster and/or lawyer got a look at it. Hopefully you can get it resolved... I can say that when it comes to stuff like repair, I'd take experience over 'new state of the art' any day.

Thats a pretty damn far fetched claim.... dry ice on a hot day.... either way.

I feel for ya man. I never had it that bad, but when I did a walk around after having my rear bumper replaced, they didn't even have it aligned correctly and the thing looked jacked. At least they didnt' have any problems with doing it, but I lost the truck for another day. I would be shittin bricks on that body shop dude, and being the asshole I am, once I was done getting the work done right, I'd do absolutely everything I could to slander their name unless the owner was cooperative. Thats absolute bull. Thats not a body shop, thats a chop shop.

It was Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota and Mike Johnson's Collision Center. Went by there today and showed them. They said they would fix it when Allstate gets back with them about fixing one of the dents.
