safari rack ?????

    i think(when i find time) im going to build myself a safari rack that goes from the windshield all the way to the back of my cap. mount the lights up front and all that cool crap.i could use the extra storage sometimes.
    my question is when i mount it to both the cab and cap,do you think the flexing of the cab/bed crack my rack or worse,maybe my cab mounts.
    i was thinking of making the rack rubber mounted to the mounting legs so it will give a little.
    or should i make to seperate racks and mount them close so they look like 1 rack? thanks guys.
