I live in the mid west salt belt area. They put mag water on the road. Just total BS. It's still slippery and nasty and every vehicle is covered with a nice coating of salt water. Every year I do some sort of frame protection on my 98. Recently been using the Black Fluid film. That stuff seems to do the best job for me. I do it every year. Luckily my frame is in pretty good shape. I have an old 99 Subaru that I drive around in the muck as much as possible and I leave the Tacoma out of the snow unless it's real deep. I'd rather they just put gravel on the road and deal with that than the sodium BS.
