they also cheap paint where the windshield meet roof when i point at it today at second appoitment one of them told me that its from the rock, told him that i hand wash my car before instalation and it wasnt there , that the guy who did instalation did it and cover it with the tape and told me that i can remove it after 24hrs, so the guy starts almost screaming at me that its rusty and it was there before, so i told him it is rusty because its been a week after tech did it,, what a dissapoitment i should go with the other company, i chose them because they are one of the largest one, and all those movie clips (commercials) that they are using hi tech equipment like that arm to set the windhield on without any errors - bullshit , when i was asking why hes not using it he told me that he will set it up faster withut it, he was jumping on my car like a fucking monkey to reach it, they should use a step ladder when they working on taller cars

I was mostly happy when safelite replaced the windshield on my wrx. I paid nothing (gieco), and it was quick and easy in one of their shops. Only complaint is my rear view mirror vibrated like a goddam dildo afterward.

Safelite did NOT have the gopro mount on the windshield when they showed up.
They cancelled the first appt 10 minutes AFTER the morning 8am they were to show up, said glass was not in stock , like they didn't know the day before ??? BS.
Had to reschedule. COMPLETE waste of my time taken off from work.
    In my opinion look elsewhere.
Only reason I went with them is my insurance company steered me to them. Maybe that's why they get business.
    Next time different story.
    Their days are numbered IMO.
Cost me $100 deductible and my windshield is not OEM. RUN from unsafelite.
Funny thing is they never sent me a survey. Wonder why ?

They did mine but I paid cash. I called and they get a quote gave her my email address. But told them the second quote I got was cheaper than their's by $15 they cut their price by 25 to be $10 less. Then when I didn't schedule a week later they sent me a 25% off coupon, so I scheduled pissed off the original reservation price they sent me in the original email.

Safelite replaced a windshield on a 2007 SR5 I had and I was disappointed in the glass quality. It was not an OEM windshield. Seemed like there was just a slight distortion looking through the windshield. Not enough distortion to take it back to get it corrected, but enough that I could see it. The work was done in their shop and service was fine. When I sold the truck in 2015, the buyer, a young guy in his 20's, didn't notice the distortion.

And, no, it wasn't my aging eyes. Don't think I would go back to Safelite after this experience.
