Is there any place on Toyota.ca I can login/sign up to see all of this info similar to US site? Or was that a different site you mentioned? Thanks.

Really so you will go to GM that has recalled over 24 million vehicles in 2014 alone? You sir are missing a valuable tool known as common sense.......

I went on Toyota.ca, go to "For Owners" at the top, then "Club Toyota".

Click Join the Club at the top right, you enter your email, VIN, etc.

You can also just go to toyota.ca/recall and enter your VIN.

Nobody knows anything beyond what that article says for now. My rig had the TSB done years ago though and it did come up on the recall for my VIN.

Since the article says in it that the models include those with both the 3 and 4 leaf packs that it includes the TSB pack as well:notsure:

I have my doubts about this, as on the recall page they specifically say that 2WD, non-pre-runner, Tacomas have the same springs as other Tacomas but since they are positioned below the axle where they won't threaten the gas tank that these vehicles are not going to be recalled.

Toyota isn't much concerned with leaf breakage itself past warranty but they are covering their rears on the off chance that one fire will start from a broken-spring-punctured tank and result in a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

Just found this info on a new recall Toyota is announcing for our trucks.

Here is the latest news release.

    http://www.usnews.com/news/business/...x-rear-springs

I jumped on Toyota's site and ran my vin for the recall and this is what is listed currently. I also had the TSB done back in 08' before they had even acknowledged the problem extending past the '07 model year and mine is still listed.

Hopefully their solution will be the answer to all our complaints about the weak rear leaf springs even after the TSB!

Toyota will reconfigure the soa to a sua set up. That would be horrible.

It seems that some of the 2011s are on the list and some aren't; haven't read where anyone has broke the code on that yet. The assumption seems to be something to do with date of manufacture. :notsure:

This. I'm pretty sure there weren't any 4 leafers that came from the factory on the 05-11s. So if this 05-11 recall includes 3 and 4 leafs it must include the tsb leafs. According to my powers of deduction...
