Probably their legal team obligated them to inform everyone several times so more people have a chance to hear about it because they are sure to miss some vehicles.....this way they cover their necks as best they can...

Got my recall notice on Friday. I have noticed that my 4-leaf pack is starting to sag a bit, so I'm hoping I get new springs, save myself $400.

Toyota has not decided / released a remedy yet , it may end up just being an added retention clip

I agree it will probably just be a clip (the cheapest fix). I'm interested to see if they will replace defectives, i.e. cracked/broken. leafs or just put a clamp around the broken leaf(s).

I'm interested to see if I'll get reimbursed for previous broken springs. I got one side for free but had to pay for the other side the next year. (They paid 80% being due to goodwill warranty)

Man, I wonder if I should go now or wait and find out they wont be replacing them.
I need leafs bad, I actually have a set I bought awhile back off someone from this forum, but never installed them because they are only the 3 pack, not the 4 that they were supposed to be. My truck is sagging bad I use it for work and have a lot of weight in it. I think I'm gonna go there and beg them to replace, I just bought a new 4runner there hopefully that will give me some pull. I called the dealership and they said the recall currently covers replacement if they are broken.
