Called for my appointment today. I was told there is a national backorder for the part and they are estimating two weeks to get it in. I set an appointment for 3/4.

Yes. I got the letter, it was on my Toyota owner’s app, and when I called the dealership had my truck and the recall pulled up when it indexed my phone number to the VIN.
ETA: mine is an SR5 DCSB 4x4 built June 18 in Baja.

This might help someone. You just put your VIN in the lookup box and it'll tell you of any recalls or service campaigns for your vehicle. Works for all Toyotas and Lexus.

    https://www.toyota.com/recall

I have an '18 .4x2 SR bought end of November, it was made in Texas over the summer. When I put my VIN in, no notices came up. I looked under the hood and see this QR sticker on the vacuum booster. The sticker also has what appears to be hand-scrawled yellow lines across it. There's also a white paint dot at the 3 o'clock position on the booster. Maybe these things are Toyota's way of marking them after the recall was done? Just guessing here.

Anyone that's had the recall done notice anything different than before they brought it in, like the yellow crayon/paint lines across the sticker?
Sorry for the blurry photo. I couldn't convince my phone to focus on the sticker.

My service adviser took care of this when I went in to have a tire replaced under warranty when they saw it in the system. I finally got the paperwork yesterday...

No problem. Now, I’m curious. What’s the setup on the four wheel drive look like?

My TRD Sport 4x2 from Baja has a build date of 11/17. My brake booster has a wht dot/circle at the 12 and 3 o'clock positions with the number 7L26 0340 stamped to the master cylinder itself. Mine does not show up on the recall list o_O

Can someone that IS on the recall list snap some clear pictures of the entire booster/master cylinder, QR code sticker and the number on the end of the cylinder itself, I'm curious to see what the set up looks like on a recalled truck - please and thank you

You can see part of it in my pic. I don’t have a pic of just the brake assembly but I did have that one with part of it there.

Here is the 4x4 OR and Pro, no vacuum booster. Do not think the recall applies to this style.

Got my letter in the mail for the brake master cylinder recall replacement. Paperwork says I'm affected by the 2018-2019 recall per Vin number.

Called and made an appointment to have the replacement done on my 2018 Sports model. While I'm at it, I'm having the transmission reflash done too. Appointment is set on the 14th. Giving the taco some love.

Where can I find the build date? If this might help, I bought the taco as of Oct, 2018.
