This is the part I wanted to make sure about. The "bearing cage" Putting the screw driver into the [][][][] and pushing the "bearing cage" out towards the front of the rails.

In the pictures i think its the Little silver thing with 2 bearings (gold/bronze)

I believe there are 2 bearing cages on each rail/track. Once they are out then you can remove the bottom rail and swap them with Tacoma ones.

Then phone died.. Had a camcorder...

    Late Reply!

Most trucks came with Push button ADD. Although rare 01-04 had J-shifters in some with ADD hubs. Mine was out of a older truck and I converted to twin stick. I don't know if that answers your question.

Hey im going to be swapping the 4x4 bits into my truck this weekend and the last part i need is a rear driveshaft
And i cant find a definitive answer online but you may know
My truck is a double cab, but my question is since double cabs are hard to find pieces for will an extended cab rear driveshaft work for my truck?
Both have the auto tranny so there wouldnt be a difference with tranny lengths
Thanks for any insight you have

You will need a 4x4 driveshaft from same motor same transmission. It can come from a extra cab Tacoma.
