No sir.. Whole family always makes sure its out of gear. You can basically wire it into the park neutral safety. It just a switch to keep you from starting it.

 

Ah shucks.

Yeah, my first attempt failed. I tried wiring it in parallel with the clutch switch so I could start it with out pressing on the clutch. The switch I used is from the older yotas. I may try to hunt down one from a newer to see if it works better.

 

Is this your current set up with out the clutch cancel?

 

This is how I wired the clutch pedal on my 2001. Have to push the clutch in to start, and and it cancels the cruise. I haven't wired the dash cancel switch yet.

I have done every task you have made a video for, I appreciate another persons insight, and being able to see shit in decent quality. Spent ~4 hours to pull my column rebuild it with bearings/bushings/joint, and got it back in and setup with a new turn signal switch, and repaired cruise switch. My biggest concern going into it was pulling the column and to see someone else do it, was a huge favor.

I needed to fix my rusty hood.

 

Went through rattle snake canyon. Very fun trail. Got lucky and got a camp site at Holcomb Valley.

 

Man I’d love to swap to a 5 speed. Having a 2.7 with an auto is terrible

 

I will be doing this soon. I'm wondering if the 2003-2004 drive by wire will affect the year transmission I need. I'm 99% positive it doesn't matter but I want to make sure.

 

It'll affect what computer you need.

 

Alabama Hills, CA BLM Camping

Birthday girl wanted to go camping. We went to my parent's house and packed up the goodies in 30 mins. Didn't mount the shower since we were only staying one night.



5pm and ready to roll out.

Few more hours of driving and we needed some fuel. Stopped at this shell.

More from the cell phone. Temps reach around 36-40 deg at night. However, there were no winds so we kept fairly warm in hour Tepui Tent.



This was a great view to wake up to.





Tried to see if I like the tent flipping out the rear of the truck... We both did not like this set up. We will continue to have driver or passenger drop.
