Ok I bought my 05 Preunner TRD Sport a month ago.
About a week later (unfortunately) I noticed it was leaning pretty badly.
After joining this forum and reading many post about the infamous problem, I decided that I would install Firestone Ride Rites to correct this for several reasons. I saw the RRs as both an answer and added functionality and I could install myself. Well... The install went fine but I found out my leafs were much worse off than I thought because I had to put 5 psi in the passenger side and 55 psi in the driver side just to get level. Needless to say it rode like crap this way.
I am looking at Deavers or Alcans for new springs but I don't want to raise the whole truck. I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 inches in the back. Question: I am leaning toward Wheelers stock 1.75 - 2 Alcans but will they work with the RRs as is or will they need spacers. Also need to keep in mind I have an ARE shell that adds weight.

You need to focus on the front springs. I just put 5100s on my 05. Before the driver's side was 1" lower than the passenger side and was really noticeable. Put a 1/4" spacer from Toytec on the driver's side and it is now only 1/4" lower than the passenger side and you can't tell it with the naked eye.
