    @JimboAnz
    885 on a DCSB with plate bumper, sliders, RTT and a bed rack.

    About even with my front end. I may be a little taller but not much.

    Good stuff, thanks. I do not foresee a plate bumper in my future.

    The + and - are just a rating stamp Dakar uses for the spring testing from what I was told. The + from what I understand is the spring exceeded Dakars requirements and the - did meet their testing requirement. That's how it was explained to me anyway.

    So are the springs on the newer Tacos the same as the much awaited on recall replacement springs?

    Worth mentioning he also had some audio mods done and guessed his overall weight increase to be around 1000 lbs over stock.

    My lift up front is 1.75" in those pics and an 885 is a 3" coil.

    I was not thrilled with those on my 1st gen. Great at first, but after a few years of a cap, mat, using it like a truck, and towing (not much), they didn't hold up as well as I hoped they would and I swapped for Daks....which were quite a bit less expensive. Something to consider depending on your needs.

    Thoughts on dakar vs allpro vs other new leaf packs? Looking for 2-3" lift in rear, I think leafs can be removed to get a little less lift on these. I will pair with new appropriate shocks.

    @tacomgee went with All Pro standards.

    He owns the silver truck I posted above. He hasn't installed them yet but may have some info to share at least on why he went that way.

    Got a good deal on the all-pro standards. Thought about the expos but didnt want a super stiff ride when empty. I hope i dont regret that decision later.
    The progressive AAL are nice just not quite enough with the RTT and all the camping gear. And by gear i mean beer

    I would recommend some Timbrens if you are carrying a RTT. I'd be happy to be help answer any questions you have! We want you to love your ride :D.

    So my truck has around 115K miles on it. And a snug top recently added, plus tools. I have a 6" procomp lift on there also. The added weight and the time in service etc have really helped the sag along. The sag is bad for the current setup; but am adding armor and swing out gate soon, and I know that'll be the end of that. I need a solution, but am getting a little lost in options. I'm totally open to doing the Firestone bag kit, even just to smooth out heavy loads in the future. I'm not really sure that will fix the problem as much as offset it. The truck is going to be dealing with a lot of constant weight in the near future; maybe even an RTT, so I want to have all of this sorted out before the armor is done being fabbed. Has anyone had this approximate issue and or have any advise? Also going to flip the u bolts whilst doing all of this ideally, and am wondering if I should just figure it all out at once, ie bump stops and the other issues that will arise immediately. I may as well do the shackles if it comes to new leaf set, I just need a little direction or experience with these general needs. Any help is seriously appreciated, thanks.

    The unfortunate reality of owning a Tacoma is that your rear springs will sag. Sooner or later, it will happen. Look at it as an opportunity to upgrade. I went with 3 leaf AALs, but the original crappy Toyota springs are still there. I'll replace the whole leaf pack eventually and probably should have done that in the first place.
