Yeah, I'm already thinking that'll be a better measure of overall preservation. Any thoughts on which to get for a way bigger constant load? I'm wondering if getting some really beefy ones supplemented with the air bags to keep it from being too rough would be appropriate? The sag in the rearis just about ridiculousnow, it's starting to look like I've done it intentionally. Additionally, there is about to be at least another 200 lbs on it, I just don't want to under do anything here. Anymore than I wish to over do it, but it seems like it needs more than a helper spring.

I'm about to do the entire OME Suspension System in about 2 weeks (Front and Rear including full Dakar Leaf Pack). If you want my stock rear springs I'll sell 'em to ya. HaHaHa ;) 2015 DLCB SR5 4x4

I've got 5,600 miles on the truck so far. Never had even 300lbs in the back. Haven't seen any ride change back there so far.

I have a shell, and the constant weight is just too much for the wheeler 3 leaf AALs. I've removed the spare and only take it on long trips to cut some weight, but just the weight of the shell has been too much for the AALs. The problem is the AALs do all the work as the original springs do nothing. I'll eventually get the dakars and probably remove a leaf to get the height and ride I want.

I know the 885's are the standard OME recommended coil for Tacomas 2005-Current if you're not using any front bumpers/winches. As per the OME website.
    http://www.oldmanemu.com.au/old-man-emu-suspension-selector/

I think the OME Dakar Leaf Pack is rated at up to 2.75" lift.

Using my truck for work/play. Having a lot of weight all the time and a plate rear bumper I ordered allpro expos. Don't be in a hurry for them to come in. 2 months now and they haven't been shipped yet.... hope this helps.

I carry alot of weight around in my rig- around 500# with a topper, I just swapped the second AAL- first broke in 2 places during the full OME w/AAL install. Before the swap I had a 2 " lift with the hill country shackles- 1/4" x 1.25" strap substitute-previous owner- they pack had a negative arch with the AAL and 2" with the shackles- So far so good, shocks are next on the hit paradeDSCN2854.jpgDSCN2857.jpg
