Trying or figure out a 2010 DCSB taco suspension issue.Several times a year l haul a 275 lb box on a hitch hauler long distance (1200 miles round trip). No room in the bed or the box would be in there.
No doubt this isn’t rocket science, but l would like to level the truck when l do these trips. But l don’t want to stiffen the ride the rest of the time, but would like some way of making the truck ride even.
    Any suggestions??

RideRite airbags. Not cheap, but definitely the most flexible in many applications. I leveled and loaded and sagged and added a leaf and rode rough and tried several different combinations. Nothing fixed it for every scenario except airbags. Now I run empty to loaded down with RTT and 10 days worth gear, to loads of firewood, and the ride is adjustable by simply adding or removing air. Rides level and smooth all the time now regardless of load. Spring for the Daystar cradles of you doing anything offroad, and make sure you get the right part number for your truck. For me, it's been the best mod I coulda done for smooth level ride. Lots of threads here on them.

I know that adding a leaf would stiffen it,had a work van that l put them on a few years ago.Same thing, rode rough when l didn’t have a load in it.But l didn’t know much about bags. Thanks for your help,I’ll check them out

Sumo springs may be a better application for your needs, definitely cheaper. At least you have some options. Good luck!
