Why is their lead customer support person a random brand ambassador in another state?

You obviously have some incentive to be the forum shill, but at the end of the day you’re cheerleading a company with a poor track record and continuous issues with communication, particularly when problems arise. You say repeatedly to email them with issues, but they don’t get back to people - still.

When you stop being the apparent go-to guy for these issues, what do these customers have left? Obviously it isn’t Eddy or anybody else employed there, which is one of the valid problems and concerns people should have.

What does it matter to you if I cheerlead SOS? And who cares what state lol you think everyone that works or supports a customer all live and stay in the same state as the product they support?
And no. Initially I got a % off on products, but now you get the same deal I did. So I do it because I’m already on here. Why not try to help people.
I think you’ve already said something at the beginning of this thread like this. and I’ll say the same thing, you don’t like me helping people then don’t follow my posts.

I don’t plan on going anywhere unless I get banned. Which might happen. Idk. I’m not a mod.

All I can suggest is to email. That’s the first best step with ANY company.

My point isn’t that you should be in the same state, that’s some odd deflection you’re trying to make. My point (clearly) is that their best option for a contact with SOS if they have any questions, let alone an issue with a product, is a person with no employment or accountability with that company or any other binding obligation outside of your choice of social media affiliation.

    Word...
    That’s a good point. Thanks.
But that can be said about anything though. These days when you buy a product and open it up there is usually a nice note that says do not return to store, call manufacturer instead.

    same deal here.

I do think since he benefits from getting business turned his way there should be some form of formal representation here. Be it a paid or otherwise compensated go-between or someone from his business or family posting occasionally. Just seems like good business sense to make sure complaints like this are handled and miscommunication is taken care of.

It may turn out that I'm a fan after I get my parts, but that still wouldn't be me as I have no relationship.

I ordered their IFS skid and sliders so I too will update regarding fitment and quality as soon as I pick em up and throw em on. I had no incentive other than being two hours from their shop and the Black Friday discount. I’m optimistic

For what it’s worth my powder coat has held up perfectly. The texture is perfect as well. It would be great on sliders.

    that is all. Unsubbed.

I think the sale is still going. I just inputted the code and it gave me the discount but didn’t check out.

and it fits the truck. You might have to trim the mat. Might.
