I had issues with sliders for my 2018 4R. Not sure about any recent issues.

The only good thing is I’m about 3 hours away from them if something major is wrong. I’m not sure I want to risk after the readings. Spending a $100 more for cbi, allpro, etc is easier bc of little to no worries.

Yep. Only one large bolt lined up on the driver side. I couldn’t wheel with little support so I ended up selling them. The only remediation would’ve been to drill the frame or weld them on. I ended up selling my runner and stopped giving a fuck. Lol.

I had second gen sliders and rear bumper on my Tacoma and had no issues. Streamline and sliders for the T4R were a pain. I don’t remember hearing about many issues 4-5 years back, only the last few years.

I’ve got a 2nd Tacoma. I was looking at a set of sliders from Bay Area and they’re $60 more and I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything bad about them

Finally installed my SOS slider today that I bought during BF deal. I’m kind a thinking about the installation and I’m glad I have no problem at all installing it, every holes are lined up.

I should email this week to see if they’ll be done ahead of this weekend. My luck it will be ready the day after my PTO ends.

Late today, tomorrow, or Monday. Trying to do a TW Express with another local member who will be there shortly.

Have to say the turnaround during a sale was pretty good. Five weeks on the dot for skids and sliders. Bare metal, which I'm sure helped. Didn't get a response to my email through the website, but did when I asked on Thursday for an update and got the return email this morning with the completion status.

Could be a spam filter issue.

Anyway, @15ACOR is on the way back with them. Have to sort out some etching primer and what I'm going to finish them.

Did put a couple good scratches in them loading them in the truck, but that's okay. Part of why I didn't go with PC.

I think I have what hardware goes with which sorted out, but I do wish that there was an install video for the skids. I'm watching an RCI video to get my bearings.

Will start prep and paint tomorrow.

I will also say that everything looks pretty good so far. Will take a closer look tomorrow as I'm wiping down.

I'm not sure I've seen any other than BAMF that put reinforcements in the middle. Maybe Bud Built? These seem like a pretty standard design.
