I’ll see what I can do.
You can order just the front skid. Then email when you want the others.

I'll never buy anything from SOS or even recommend it to anyone after going through what i did. Actually still in the process of fixing their laziness. I wish i went with someone else. Huge lesson learned for me

Oh yea that problem was squashed. The second issue came when i ordered the hoops. Originally I ordered the bumper without hoops and later i decided i wanted hoops, so i contacted SOS and ordered the center hoops for $150 which if you ask me is a bit much considering majority of other companies sell it for half that. But the price wasn't the issue yet. They sent me the wrong one which came within a week, they sent the Full Hoops. So i contacted them and they were willing to send me the right one. Now im not a scumbag and Im not looking to fuck anyone over so i offered to send the wrong one back, figured they could use it but they said dont worry about it. Somehow it took them like a month to send the right one. I'm guessing they weren't happy about sending it again so they took their time. Anyways after waiting like a month i finally got it. So now I'm looking at the pipe and they never cut the proper angles on the pipes. They literally stuck just bent a piece of tube, slapped it in a box and charged me $150. So now I'm thinking how hard can it be to cut the correct angles. Let me tell you its the hardest thing we ever attempted. Its took us well over 2 month of weekends and hours of cutting and grinding. By the time we made a million tiny cuts and figured out the angle on the main hoop it was way to short to be usable. So fortunately i was able to salvage the wrong one they sent and make that work. To avoid the same issue we chopped bottom few inches and welded it separately and then welded the top half of the hoop. I know it sounds easy, but trying to figure out how to cut both side at the right angle on a U shape tube is fucking impossible. So now we're working on figuring out the angles on the braces which im sure will be another nightmare. Also the guy helping with this has top of the line equipment as well as years of welding and fabricating experience and even he was confused on this angle bullshit. You know the worst part about this, this entire shit show could of been avoided if the people working at SOS took 2 minutes to put the tube in a jig and cut the proper angles so all we had to do was put in on and weld it. I could of had my hoops installed months ago. But yet here i am. I apologize for such a long explanation but figured I'd be thorough.

There’s an oil drain hole, I have their skids and I will say you should get a Kumoto or whatever it’s called valve with the nipple that’s what I did, that way you can hook a hose to it open and drain it with zero issues. I don’t have any issues with my skids, the rocks have issues trying to break through them that’s about it

    Two questions about the skids:

    1) do they come coated. Description doesn't say and the picture is of a black one.
    2) Are they compatible with the OEM TRD skid plate for third gen. I'm hoping the price difference between the two isn't large with BF sales, and I'm deciding which route to go.

    1. No powder coating is separate. (Many, not all, don't bother with coating) Rattle can it and touch it up when you scrap it all to hell.
    2. Define compatible? These would replace an OEM Skid plate.

Is this on a full plate bumper?

should it have been coped to fit the flat surface? Probably

Sit the hoop against a flat surface and draw a line. Cut and weld. Tube can be a pain to work with if you don’t do it often, but simple tricks go a long way.

I don't know if there's a difference between the TRD Pro skid and the aftermarket ones in how they attach and how (the TRD one) interacts with the aftermarket TC and mid skids. I know RCI supplies longer bolts for their skids if you are using with the Pro one.

I should have clarified I wasn't talking about the flimsy stock front skid.

    1) no they do not. (I recommend painting yourself as the PC will just get all jacked up)
    2) they are not compatible with the TRD pro skid.

Don't worry about the OEM skid, that's the first priority for me.

So TRD Pro skid, SOS mid skid, SOS tcase skid? How does the mid skid attach to the pro skid? Cause the SOS skid is designed to attach to the mid with the two bolts and bent lip. Does a pro skid have that? Never took a good look at one, but I wouldn't think it did.

I have SOS bolt on sliders, the only issues I have had are from my lackluster painting abilities. Fit was 99% I'd say, there was some finangling. Definitely recommend (regardless of the brand) to put all the hardware in loosely and only tighten up once all hardware is in place. Skids, sliders, everything.

I would consider the skids I need to do full skids, but will only do it if I can bolt them up in the parking lot on site.

Get steel, if you're buying anyway. Just get some TRD decals and put them on if you must. Al vs. Steel is a big debate, personally, I'm on the steel side... :)

So.. SOS sent you the hoops you wanted. Then come to find out you wanted full hoops. SOS, yet again, sent those out.
Then you blame SOS because you messed them up for the fitment notch? I’m confused here. You’re modifying a finished product.

NO ONE SHIPS hoops pre notched.

I can’t believe you are bashing SOS. They sent you what you wanted. Twice. And PAID for your fog light fix.

Yes its a full plate bumper. In theory it sounded like a easy idea but trying to execute it was another story
