Are these hid headlamp direct bulb replacements? What i mean is ive had to alter headlights before to fit bulbs. Do these bulbs simply pop into place where oem ones were?

We have sold about 50 kits last sale and no one had to modify anything and we have also tested the bulbs on a set we have in our shop and no modification was required

Im recalling this from memory but Im pretty certain you either have to drill a hole in your headlight cap for the wires to pass through, or take the cap off. It's not hard to do, but you'll need a hole drill.

I double checked, this is correct, my bad. I was recalling a HID install I did on a Subaru. I do too much for family and friends, it all starts to blur together.

What's the advantage of the 55w vs 35w ballast? I'm looking at 5500k.
