Yeah but will @Benzdriver81 actually show up? I mean, I guess we could just show up to his house if necessary.

Word of advice, doing a night run with a bunch of new faces (especially in snow) is bad.
I think getting a gauge of abilities and interests at this meet will give a good idea of what sort of trips are practical. Just off the top of my head of generic examples, from easy on up (snow of course changing things):

    • Valsetz - stretches of gravel roads leading to a ghost town (however, all there is left is concrete foundations of one building). Lots of scenery, but you could do it in a minivan and never worry about your paint.
    • Detroit area near Breitenbush: mainly a lot of pinstriping possibilities since they are FS roads that are in various states upkeep, some with encroaching bushes. The focus would be on adventure since I don't know any defined path.
    • Barlow Toll road: this is probably the first suggestion in my list where you would need 4x4. Stock friendly trail whose main obstacle is the muddy uphill wagon roads.
    • TSF: goes from green to multi-black. Not an adventure, but pretty much the most serious offroading in the state.
Depending on the group, you get different possibilities.

What the hell are those? Some sort of funky bottle opener?

Just send it! All joking aside I can understand your perspective.

Maybe I've always showed up, but you never saw me :spy:

Except I won't be there. I mean, I guess you're more than welcome to show up. I'll give you the code :notsure:

Exciting stuff!! As far as I'm concerned... any tacoma, even pre 95 trucks should be welcomed! A faviort of mine (good weather) running up to Gearheart. 10 miles of coast to drive on. Be nice to the Sheriff and keep the camp fire going all night, you've just landed a premo campsite! I've done my fair share of Forest roads up in the Cascades... learned a lesson about keeping updated maps to show which roads are open and which roads are public.... long story.

Let me know if anyone is interested in a set of Stock Locking Lug Nuts (4 w/key) or Spyder Trax spacers. I can bring them to the meet. Sorry I posted them here. I'm too new to post in the classifieds and I thought someone at the meet might want them. Also, Above Shellburg Falls there seem to be quite a few promising trails. Wouldn't recommend it at night after the meet though.

Gearhart is one of my favorite stretches of beach. I used to play at Sandlake a lot in my 98 Tacoma, but it was better built for sand than my current one.

I grew up playing on the logging roads out there, it’s been a long time since I’ve been out that way, are there new roads without locked gates? Seemed like I remember a lot of gates going up in the mid-late 90’s up there.
