I am going to put a 2.25 leveling kit in my truck, and was wondering if a 285/70/17 would work on stock wheels? Also what is the actual size is a 285?

you will need alot of trimming, and uca's because the tires will rub on stock rims

To run those wide of tires trimming will be a must and with the stock 5.5 (I think) backspacing your upper control arms will be rubbed. You can either get spacers (ehh) or properly backspaced wheels.

2.25" will have you sitting nose high! Those are 33's and will rub like a mother. your gonna need a 3" lift and wheel spacers and removal of your mud flaps and some trimming to make it work! Good luck
