Gents I was reffering to this comment. I am all for them getting married read my previous post!

"LET EVERYONE FUCK maybe the world would be a more peaceful place"

Thats why I said then there would be children to raise. And on a side note I have family memebers that are involved in same sex relations. I know its the net but read more than just 1 post.

I also said to let the same sex couples adopt. A good environment is good no matter what it looks like. Check post #412.

I don't really care, but I prefer to call it a 'union'.
Something about having a 'marriage' being for a man and woman.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Conservative side demand that we're given freedom to do as we choose?

So, why take another person's freedom to choose something like marrying someone of the same sexual orientation?

    Hypocritical imho.

I'm not gay nor do I endorse their lifestyle but if we're free then we should not be limited by someone who wants to pick and choose the freedoms we enjoy in this country.

I don't feel any less married to my wife just b/c some guy wants to say he's married to a toaster. Doesn't hurt me at all.

My marriage is between me, god and my wife, the government should have nothing to do with it.

So I bring up a point (months ago) about how the term "marriage" would degenerate so that anyone down the line that decides they want it to mean something different can change the meaning AGAIN, ..........and now I'm a sheepf**ker?! You bash and belittle christians constantly (we're intolerant, bigoted, closed minded) but the first thing you resort to when someone has a different OPINION than you is to call them names like that? I've already told you once, my brother is gay. I love my brother to death, but I do not want his relationship to be considered a "marriage" and he doesn't even care one way or the other. Give them the same rights as married couples, let them live together I don't care. My brother is not sub-human, he is equal to me, but his relationship with another guy is not equal to me and my wife's.
